Insider lo-fi Viral Complete

I have finished the low-fi, budgetless viral for The Insider Festival. It's got some fairly decent response and has spread fairly well via youtube etc.

Here it is...

Insider Weekend 26th-29th June from Ali Macca on Vimeo.

The insider. Festival fun in the Highlands. Sleep with a spider and eat quails eggs whilst listening to men with long hair play instruments.

New Happenings...

Last week I was up in Aviemore filming for a viral. In the process many a mishap happened. We were fortunate only to lose a symbol and stand and not a human life.

Editing of the footage starts in earnest today. I'll keep you posted.

Piggin' Flu...

With the news that the UK was ordering 30 000 000 face masks for the swine flu pandemic, I thought there might have been a niche in the market for some designer ones... Unfortunately someone is ahead of the game.

I'm sure with a little work there is something to be done with this!

Nice video...

I like this video. Some very nice slow motion kit.

A little slow to load but worth it.

The Wine Shark

I spotted this yesterday. Not only does Co-Op have a fine selection of wines, it also has the one and only wine shark. Check the bottom right of this photo...

A real life wine shark.

A link to the RadioFaces mix on Subcity Radio. RadioFaces consist of myself and Kristian Elliot. Excuse the extra noises and add ons by our over exuberant host. We start about 20 mins in.

The grid system.

A nice source of inspiration. I like this style a lot, squares and rectangles and visually pleasing layouts.

Update to JW Flash player

Just noticed yesterday that the 3d part of the site wasn't working in Safari and Chrome...Sorry if you wanted a look. Needed to update the JW player for some reason. Done now and all should be dandy for 3d viewing.
